Core Beliefs

JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. That he is fully man and God in human form. We believe that Jesus was born to the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life. He was crucified on a cross. He was buried and raised from the dead. He now is sitting on the right hand of God acting as our Savior, our High Priest and our advocate.

 

THE BIBLE

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. That the scriptures were breathed by God into the hands of the writers. We believe in both the Old and New Testament where God reveals his plan for Salvation. The Bible is without error. It is the Ultimate authority in which all humans will be judged.

 

GOD

We believe that there is only one God. The God we serve in the Bible is “The God of all gods”. The three parts of God are: 1. God the father 2. Jesus the Son 3. The Holy Spirit.

 

HOLY SPIRIT

He is the third person of the Trinity. He is there as a comforter; he communicates our moans and groans directly to God. He teaches us, he warns us and communicates with us in our spirit. This Spirit will never contradict God.

 

HUMAN CONDITION

We believe that Adam & Eve were made in God’s image. They were tempted by Satan and fell into sin. Because of this, we are all alienated or separated from God by our sinful nature and choices.  The only way that we can redeem ourselves is through Jesus Christ.

 

CHRISTIAN LIFE

We are called to live Holy lives. We are to Love God with all of our heart, soul and mind. We are commanded to Love the brothers and sisters we worship with. We are also commanded to love our enemies. We must be sacrificial and humble. putting others before ourselves.

THE CHURCH

The church is made up of believers in Jesus Christ. We are there to encourage one another. The church meets to encourage one another. We are to Fellowship, eat, pray, sing praises, and love up on one another. We are to share the gospel with others, make disciples, and we will be known by the world for our love.

 

RESPONSE TO GOD

We believe that the call a couple thousand years ago is the same exact call today.

Believe, Repent and be Baptized. There are smart choices moving forward with that faith such as turning from your sinful ways, worshipping, and attaching yourself to a group of believers. (The Church)

 

Jesus Tent Summary

In Summary we are a group of believers that are sinners. We need the blood of Jesus to save us from Hell and give us an eternal life in Heaven. We will do our best to share food, praise, love, hugs, lessons, and prayers. We will meet every Sunday morning (weather permitting).
