About us - The Story of Jesus Tent
Jesus Tent was conceived in a dream that we believe came from God back in the spring of 2014. After many ups and downs and God exposing weakness in my personal faith journey, it became clear that in the Spring of 2021 that it was time. God was saying do it now. So Jesus Tent began. Officially and all in.
We started a 501C3. Found 2 additional Board Members who are tremendous men of God with a simple faith. Bought tents, chairs, generator, speaker, chairs, tables and had our first service in September of 2021. The vision was to provide a more simplistic group of believers that would reach out to the simple man with God’s simple plan.
At this point we have no paid staff. We have food and drinks every time we meet. We focus on teaching simple, fundamental truths straight out of the Bible.
We believe and practice as best we can I Corinthians 13:1-3.
Our Services
We meet under a tent or Canopy on the beach every Sunday. We try to meet in the morning, but times adjust based on weather. If the weather is bad we will meet indoors and communicate where as soon as we can best determine by text. If you want to be on the Group me list please contact us anytime.

We start the service with food, drink and music. We then settle into our lawn chairs that are provided by Jesus Tent. (Some bring their own.) We have Praise and Worship, pray, discuss prayer needs or other matters among the group. We then share a lesson that is presented. Comments, discussion, or thoughts are encouraged throughout the lesson.
We then offer communion. Specific prayers and a time of fellowship go on for as long as you want.
Who goes to Jesus Tent?

Everyone is welcome! We have people walk up and completely breakdown sharing their story with the group. We have had tears and confessions from total strangers. We have fishermen, house cleaners, waitress’s, unemployed, mechanics, businessmen, health workers, students, athletes, retired, young, old and all in between. All races and mixtures of races. In other words if you are breathing you are welcome!

Anytime you see our sign, trailer or tent, walk right over. We'll be so happy to get to know you, pray with you, share a cool bottle of water, or just chat!

We commit to slow down, ask questions, and really listen to people. Listen to understand, not just to prepare a response. To allow people to speak their mind without interruption or judgement. We believe people will feel valued (and loved!) when they are heard and understood.
